It is surrounded by tiny metal spheres and pointed sculptural details that resemble new shoots emerging from the forest floor.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe mushroom stems curve upward from the glass and spread naturally across the circular space. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe design begins with impressions of mushroom clusters, fine stems and fragments of green light found among moss and forest plants. The glass is melted in a special kiln and individually shaped.
