Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, curling forest plants and pale organic forms found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.
