Available on request: different mushroom details, another available glass color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish.

A handcrafted amanita mushroom necklace made from copper, pewter, warm red-orange glass and stainless steel. The elongated oval composition features three sculptural mushrooms growing above a luminous round glass element.

The mushrooms are arranged at different heights. The central mushroom has a broad cap decorated with individually formed raised dots, while the two smaller side mushrooms have smooth, softly pointed caps.

The large round glass element rests at the base of the pendant within a textured setting of tiny metal spheres. Its rich color creates a glowing focal point against the deep black metalwork.

A smaller orange glass bead appears on one of the curved stems, adding a second point of warm color. A central curling line with a rounded ending and several pointed bud-like forms complete the unusual botanical composition.

The thin oval frame surrounds the mushrooms without making the pendant feel heavy. Open spaces between the stems preserve its airy structure and emphasize the flowing handmade lines.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear warm red, burnt orange, amber or deep honey.

The version shown in the photographs combines one dotted mushroom cap with two smooth caps, red-orange glass and a black finish. Different mushroom details, another available glass color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of mushroom clusters, curling forest plants and warm fragments of light found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass is melted in a special kiln and individually shaped. Small differences in its contours, internal texture and color are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every mushroom cap, raised dot, curved stem, oval frame and glass setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, glass forms and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
