A pair of handcrafted botanical flower earrings made from copper, pewter, silver, amber and stainless steel. The blackened sculptural forms open like delicate flowers or seed pods, with warm amber beads suspended at the ends of flowing organic lines.

Light, expressive and comfortable to wear, the earrings bring a distinctive botanical form into everyday styling. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of petals, seed pods and organic botanical shapes. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

  • Item: One pair of earrings
  • Materials: Copper, Pewter, Silver, Amber, Stainless Steel
  • Color: black / amber brown / silver-tone hooks
  • Size: approx. 4 × 3.5 cm (1.6 × 1.4 in)

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

Amber is a natural material, so its color, pattern, inclusions and transparency may vary slightly.

Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in shape, texture and finish are natural and make each pair individual.

About Yadovito

Every form begins with a feeling.

Yadovito is an independent artist studio creating handcrafted nature jewelry and wearable art shaped by personal observations of the natural world. I do not try to reproduce nature exactly. I give form to a feeling — and invite others to find their own story in it.
