A pair of handcrafted amanita mushroom earrings made from copper, pewter, amethyst and steel. The sculptural design combines dotted mushroom caps with long slender stems, each finished with a round purple amethyst bead.
Light, expressive and comfortable to wear, the earrings bring a delicate forest-inspired form into everyday styling. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of amanita mushrooms, dotted caps, delicate stems and small forms found among moss, bark and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
Amethyst is a natural stone, so its color, inclusions and transparency may vary slightly depending on the light and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in mushroom shape, dots, stem curves, stone appearance and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
