A handcrafted amanita mushroom statement necklace made from copper, pewter, amethyst and stainless steel. The wide sculptural composition grows from a curved blackened frame and combines several mushroom forms, long flowing stems, small organic details and pale purple amethyst elements.
The asymmetrical arrangement creates a sense of movement, as though the mushrooms and delicate forest forms are growing outward from one central point.
The necklace is designed as a wearable sculptural object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of amanita mushrooms, delicate stems and small forms growing together on the forest floor. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
Amethyst is a natural stone, so its color, inclusions, pattern and transparency may vary slightly depending on the light and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in mushroom shapes, stem curves, stone appearance and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
