A pair of handcrafted drop earrings made from copper, pewter, amethyst and steel. The smooth round purple stones are held within compact silver-tone settings and suspended from long slender metal stems, creating a light and minimal sculptural silhouette.
Expressive and comfortable to wear, the earrings bring a small gemstone composition into everyday styling. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of simple geometry, balance and the contrast between a delicate line and a rounded natural stone. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
Amethyst is a natural stone, so its color, inclusions, pattern and transparency may vary slightly depending on the light and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in stone appearance, stem shape, texture and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
