A handcrafted single mushroom earring made from copper, pewter, amethyst and steel. The slender sculptural design combines a small mushroom cap with a long curved stem and a pale purple amethyst surrounded by tiny rounded metal details.
This listing is for one single earring — not a pair. It can be worn alone as a delicate asymmetrical accent or combined with another earring to create a personal mismatched set.
The earring is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of delicate mushrooms, thin forest stems and small stones found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
Amethyst may vary slightly in shade, translucency, pattern and internal details. Depending on the lighting, the stone may appear pale purple, pinkish violet or deeper lavender.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in mushroom shape, stem curve, stone appearance and finish are natural and make each earring individual.
