Asymmetrical Bird Earrings with Pink Quartz – Blackened Copper

A handcrafted pair of asymmetrical bird earrings made from copper, pewter, pink quartz and stainless steel.
One earring features a small sculptural bird resting above a pink teardrop-shaped stone. The second earring echoes the same shape and materials with a simpler open metal form. The two earrings are intentionally different but visually connected, creating a balanced mismatched pair with movement and individual character.
Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of wild birds, branches and fleeting movement in the forest. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The copper and pewter elements are darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve their deep tone.
Pink quartz is a natural material, so its color, pattern and transparency may vary slightly.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in shape, texture and finish are natural and make each pair individual.

About Yadovito
Every form begins with a feeling.
Yadovito is an independent artist studio creating handcrafted nature jewelry and wearable art shaped by personal observations of the natural world.
I do not try to reproduce nature exactly. I give form to a feeling — and invite others to find their own story in it.
