A pair of handcrafted oval drop earrings made from copper, pewter, black stained glass and steel. Light, expressive and comfortable to wear, the earrings combine smooth black glass with small sculptural silver-tone details.
Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of simple geometry, balance and the way light moves through material. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
The black glass has a smooth, reflective surface and may look slightly different depending on the lighting.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in shape, texture and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
