A pair of handcrafted branch asymmetrical earrings made from copper, pewter, kiln-fused glass and steel. The two forms are intentionally different but visually connected, giving the pair movement and individual character. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of branches, bark textures and the movement of growing lines. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The glass elements are kiln-fused, so every piece develops its own subtle shape, depth and play of light.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in shape, texture and finish are natural and make each item individual.
