A pair of handcrafted black mushroom earrings made from copper, pewter and stainless steel. Their minimal elongated design combines one sculptural mushroom, a fine circular frame and a long stem ending in a small rounded droplet.
One mushroom appears inside each open circle. Its individually shaped conical cap has a smooth surface without raised dots, creating a simple and recognizable forest silhouette.
The slender mushroom stem continues below the circular frame instead of ending at its base. This long uninterrupted line gives the earrings their distinctive narrow proportions.
A small rounded metal droplet finishes the lower end of each stem. The simple weighted form visually balances the wider mushroom cap above.
The fine circular frame surrounds the mushroom without filling the open space. Its slightly irregular handmade outline emphasizes the organic character of the design.
The two earrings follow the same composition, while subtle differences in the mushroom caps, circles and stems make the pair feel natural rather than mechanically identical.
The deep black finish emphasizes the fine lines and sculptural mushroom shapes. Depending on the lighting, the metal may appear matte black, dark graphite or softly metallic.
There is no glass, stone or ceramic in this design. Its visual character comes entirely from the contrast between the small mushroom cap, open circular frame and extremely long stem.
Despite their elongated shape, the earrings appear delicate and visually light. They can be worn as minimalist woodland jewelry, subtle witchy earrings or small pieces of sculptural botanical art.
The version shown in the photographs has smooth mushroom caps without dots and a black finish. Raised mushroom dots, a custom earring size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.
These earrings are designed as small wearable botanical objects, somewhere between jewelry, natural memories and personal symbols. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with a simple impression of a mushroom: a small cap, a slender stem and a quiet organic line. I do not reproduce nature literally. I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

Because every mushroom cap, circular frame, slender stem and rounded ending is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, proportions and finish are natural and make each pair individual.

About Yadovito
