A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and deep blue ceramic. The elongated openwork composition features one sculptural amanita mushroom, two rounded ceramic elements and delicate botanical lines.
The mushroom has a broad, individually shaped conical cap decorated with small raised dots. Its long curved stem rises along one side of the pendant, creating an expressive woodland silhouette.
Two glossy dark blue ceramic beads introduce rich points of color within the black metal composition. One rests higher among the branching stems, while the second appears closer to the textured base.
The upper ceramic element is finished with a small crown-like cluster of metal spheres. The lower bead is framed by tapered metal details that visually connect it with the surrounding stems.
Depending on the lighting and viewing angle, the ceramic may appear cobalt blue, deep navy, violet blue or almost black.
Several fine botanical stems curve through the composition and end in small rounded buds. Their different heights and directions create an airy, naturally asymmetrical structure.
At the lower end, the stems gather around a textured cluster of tiny metal spheres. Two smooth droplet-shaped endings complete the elongated silhouette.
The pendant loop is integrated into one of the tallest central lines, allowing the composition to hang naturally from the chain without interrupting its flowing shape.
The deep black finish emphasizes the dotted mushroom cap, fine stems and glossy blue ceramic. Despite its expressive length, the open construction keeps the pendant visually light.
The version shown in the photographs has one dotted mushroom cap, two dark blue ceramic elements and a black finish. A smooth cap without dots, another available ceramic color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.
The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of solitary mushrooms, seed pods and dark fragments of color found among forest plants. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

Its title and description identify the blue elements as ceramic, although the Highlights material field currently lists Glass and should be corrected.
The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The ceramic elements may vary subtly in shape, glaze, surface texture and shade. These differences are natural characteristics of handmade components.
Because every mushroom cap, raised dot, curved stem and ceramic setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
