Available on request: different mushroom details, another available glass color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish.

A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, blue glass and stainless steel. The elongated oval composition features three sculptural mushrooms growing above a luminous round glass element.

The mushrooms rise at different heights. The upper mushroom has a broad cap decorated with individually formed raised dots, while the two smaller mushrooms have smooth, softly pointed caps.

The vivid cobalt-blue glass forms the glowing base of the pendant. It is surrounded by a textured setting of tiny metal spheres and pointed organic details that connect it visually to the flowing stems.

Long curved lines extend upward through the open oval frame. A central curl and several rounded bud-like endings introduce movement and give the composition the appearance of a miniature imaginary forest.

The open spaces between the stems keep the pendant visually light while emphasizing its elongated silhouette. The deep black finish creates a dramatic contrast with the bright transparent glass.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear cobalt blue, sapphire, turquoise blue or a deeper ocean shade.

The version shown in the photographs combines one dotted mushroom cap with two smooth caps, blue glass and a black finish. Different mushroom details, another available glass color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of mushroom clusters, curling forest plants and fragments of blue light found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass is melted in a special kiln and individually shaped. Small differences in its contours, internal texture and shade are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every mushroom cap, raised dot, curved stem, oval frame and glass setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, glass form and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
