Blue Glass Cherry Earrings – Blackened Copper

A pair of handcrafted cherry earrings made from copper, pewter, blue glass and steel. Each earring combines a luminous round glass fruit with a long curved stem and a small textured leaf, creating a delicate botanical silhouette.
Light, expressive and comfortable to wear, the earrings bring a small fruit-inspired composition into everyday styling. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of cherries, curved stems, leaves and ripe fruit catching the light. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The blue glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear lighter, darker or slightly different in tone depending on the lighting and background.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in stem curves, leaf texture, glass appearance and finish are natural and make each pair individual.

About Yadovito
Every form begins with a feeling.
Yadovito is an independent artist studio creating handcrafted nature jewelry and wearable art shaped by personal observations of the natural world. I do not try to reproduce nature exactly. I give form to a feeling — and invite others to find their own story in it.
