A handcrafted jellyfish pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, blue glass and steel. The sculptural design combines a luminous round blue glass element with long flowing metal tentacles, a smaller faceted glass bead and delicate rounded details.
The curved lines create a sense of gentle underwater movement, while the deep blue glass forms a vivid focal point within the silver-tone composition.
The pendant is designed as a small wearable ocean sculpture, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of translucent jellyfish drifting slowly through dark water. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
The blue glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear bright blue, deep navy or almost black depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in tentacle curves, glass appearance, tiny details and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
