Blue Glass Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Oval Forest Pendant – Botanical

A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, blue glass and stainless steel. The elongated oval composition features three sculptural mushrooms rising on slender, gently curved stems above a luminous blue glass element.

The mushrooms are arranged at different heights and have smooth, individually shaped caps without dots. Their flowing stems create the impression of a small fungi garden growing inside the narrow oval frame.

The bright blue glass rests at the base of the pendant within a textured setting of tiny metal spheres and pointed organic details. Its rounded handmade surface forms a vivid focal point against the deep black metalwork.

A central spiral, one rounded bud-like form and delicate open lines complete the botanical composition. The open spaces between the stems keep the pendant visually light while emphasizing its elongated sculptural silhouette.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear turquoise blue, vivid cobalt, deep ocean blue or slightly green-blue.

The version shown in the photographs has three smooth mushroom caps without dots, blue glass and a black finish. Dotted caps, another available glass color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, curling forest plants and fragments of blue light found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass is formed from molten glass and shaped individually. Small differences in its contours, internal texture and shade are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every mushroom cap, stem, oval frame and glass setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, glass form and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.

Packaging

Your order will be packed with care in a kraft gift box, decorated with themed stickers and dried flowers, ready for gifting or keeping as a personal piece.
