Blue Glass Octopus Single EarringA handcrafted single octopus earring made from copper, pewter, blue glass and steel. The sculptural design combines a luminous round glass element with flowing curved tentacles, tiny rounded details and a secure lever-back closure.
This listing is for one single earring — not a pair. It can be worn alone as an asymmetrical ocean-inspired accent or combined with another earring to create a personal mismatched set.
The curved lines create a sense of gentle underwater movement, while the blue glass forms a vivid focal point within the silver-tone composition.
The earring is designed as a small wearable ocean sculpture, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of octopus tentacles, drifting sea creatures and organic forms moving through the water. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
The blue glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear turquoise, deep blue or slightly darker depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in tentacle curves, glass appearance, rounded details and finish are natural and make each earring individual.
