A handcrafted botanical statement necklace made from copper, pewter, blue glass, stainless steel and natural oak wood. The sculptural composition grows from a curved oak branch, combining luminous blue glass elements with slender stems, flower-like forms and dark poppy seed pods.
The necklace is designed as a wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of poppy flowers, dry seed pods, delicate wild plants and branches found on the forest floor. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The natural oak branch is carefully prepared and treated with hot wax to protect the wood and emphasize its individual grain and texture.
The blue glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear lighter, darker or more violet-toned depending on the lighting and background.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand and includes natural wood, small differences in branch shape, wood grain, stem curves, glass appearance and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
