A handcrafted mushroom statement necklace made from copper, pewter, blue stained glass and stainless steel. The wide sculptural composition grows from a curved blackened frame and combines several mushrooms on long slender stems with a luminous blue glass element, small buds and flowing organic details.
The asymmetrical arrangement creates a sense of movement, as though a group of delicate mushrooms is growing upward from the forest floor.
The necklace is designed as a wearable sculptural object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of mushroom clusters, delicate stems and small forms growing together among moss, bark and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The blue stained glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear lighter, darker or slightly violet depending on the lighting and background.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in mushroom shapes, stem curves, glass appearance and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
