Clear Glass Bird Necklace – Silver Tone

A handcrafted bird pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, clear glass and stainless steel. The small sculptural composition features a stylized silver-tone bird resting above a luminous oval glass element.

The bird is individually shaped by hand, with a pointed beak, rounded body and gently extended tail. Its simple expressive silhouette captures the character of a small woodland bird without reproducing a particular species literally.

The transparent glass is surrounded by a textured setting of tiny metal spheres. Its smooth surface catches reflections from the surrounding light, creating a delicate contrast with the sculptural metalwork.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear crystal clear, softly smoky or slightly reflective. Natural reflections may also introduce subtle pale pink, blue or golden tones.

The silver-tone surface is combined with gently darkened details that emphasize the shape of the bird, the dotted glass setting and the handmade texture of the pendant.

The necklace is designed as a small wearable object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with observations of small birds, drops of water and fragments of light found within the natural world. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these impressions to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.

The clear glass is individually shaped by hand. Small differences in its contours, internal texture and reflections are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every bird and glass setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the silhouette, glass form, dotted details and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.

Packaging

Your order will be packed with care in a kraft gift box, decorated with themed stickers and dried flowers, ready for gifting or keeping as a personal piece.
