Clear Glass Flower Earrings – Blackened Copper Botanical Dangles – Boho

A pair of handcrafted botanical flower earrings made from copper, pewter, clear glass and stainless steel. Each fan-shaped composition grows from a textured cluster of tiny metal spheres into five long, gently curved stems.

Four stems end in luminous round clear glass elements, while the fifth is finished with an elongated metal detail resembling a small flower bud, seed pod or drop.

The flowing lines suggest delicate petals, stamens and hanging botanical forms without reproducing a particular flower literally. Their open structure gives the earrings an airy sculptural silhouette and allows the glass elements to move gently when worn.

The transparent glass catches and reflects the surrounding light, creating a subtle contrast with the deep black metal. Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, it may appear crystal clear, softly smoky or touched by pale rainbow reflections.

The two earrings form a coordinated pair, but every curved stem, glass element and textured detail is individually shaped and assembled by hand. Slight differences between them are a natural part of the handmade process and make every pair individual.

The version shown in the photographs has clear glass and a black finish. Another available glass color, a custom earring size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

These earrings are designed as small wearable botanical objects, somewhere between jewelry, natural memories and personal symbols. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of flower stamens, delicate seed heads and drops of light found among forest plants. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The clear glass is individually shaped. Small differences in its contours, internal texture and reflections are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every curved stem, glass element and textured detail is formed and assembled by hand, slight variations in spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each pair unique.
