Clear Glass Flower Earrings – Silver Tone

A pair of handcrafted flower earrings made from copper, pewter, clear glass and steel. Each sculptural composition centers around a faceted teardrop-shaped glass element framed with delicate handmade metal details.

Above the glass, slender curved lines open into a fan-like floral form and finish with small rounded tips. Below it, an organic branching stem develops into delicate buds and softly rounded endings.

The transparent faceted glass catches and refracts the surrounding light, creating subtle reflections within the silver-tone composition. Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, it may appear crystal clear, softly smoky or touched with pale pink and golden reflections.

The design suggests flowers, seed heads and young branches without reproducing a particular plant literally. Its elongated open structure gives the earrings a graceful sense of movement while keeping them visually light.

The two earrings form a coordinated pair, but each glass setting, curved line and botanical detail is individually shaped and assembled by hand. Small natural differences between them emphasize the handmade character of the design.

The version shown has clear glass and a silver-tone finish. Other available glass colors, a custom earring size or a black finish may be requested through personalization.

These earrings are designed as small wearable botanical objects, somewhere between jewelry, natural memories and personal symbols. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of translucent petals, delicate stems and drops of light found among forest plants. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.

The glass elements are individually shaped. Small differences in their contours, facets, internal texture and reflections are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every glass setting, curved line and botanical detail is formed and assembled by hand, slight variations in spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
