A pair of handcrafted jellyfish earrings made from copper, pewter, clear glass and steel. Each sculptural design combines a luminous round glass element with long flowing metal tentacles, tiny rounded details and delicate clear glass accents.
The curved lines and asymmetrical tentacle arrangements create a sense of gentle underwater movement. The transparent glass catches the surrounding light, while the silver-tone finish gives the earrings a light and airy Art Nouveau character.
These earrings are designed as small wearable ocean sculptures, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of translucent jellyfish drifting slowly through the water. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
The clear glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear transparent, silvery or slightly different in tone depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in tentacle curves, glass appearance, tiny details and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
