A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, clear glass and stainless steel. The elongated sculptural form combines a smooth mushroom cap with a transparent teardrop-shaped glass element held within the lower part of the stem.
The pendant is designed as a small wearable object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of small woodland mushrooms, slender stems and clear drops of water found among leaves and forest plants. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The transparent glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear slightly different depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in shape, glass texture and finish are natural and make each item individual.
