Clear Glass Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper & Pewter Oval Forest Pendant – Psychedelic

A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, clear glass and stainless steel. The small oval openwork composition features two sculptural mushroom caps, delicate bud-like forms and slender stems flowing around a round glass element.

The transparent glass rests at the base of the pendant within a textured setting of tiny metal spheres. It catches the surrounding light and may reveal subtle iridescent reflections, creating a luminous contrast with the blackened metal.

The curved stems and asymmetrical botanical details form a miniature imaginary garden inside the oval frame. Its elongated silhouette gives the pendant a delicate yet slightly surreal character inspired by mushrooms, young shoots and hidden woodland forms.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, curled stems and fragments of light found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is coated with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The clear glass catches and reflects the surrounding light. Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, it may appear transparent, softly opalescent or subtly iridescent.

Because every pendant is shaped by hand, small differences in the mushroom caps, curved stems, bud-like details, glass form and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
