Clear Glass Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Forest Pendant – Psychedelic Fungi

A handcrafted mushroom necklace made from copper, pewter, clear glass and steel. The openwork composition features three sculptural mushrooms rising on long, gently curved stems above a luminous teardrop-shaped glass element.

The three mushrooms are arranged at different heights and have smooth, individually shaped caps without dots. Their slender stems create the impression of a miniature fungi garden growing upward from the glass.

The large transparent glass element forms the visual center of the necklace. It is surrounded by a textured setting of tiny metal spheres and pointed organic details that connect it visually to the flowing stems.

Small rounded buds and curling botanical lines extend around the composition, adding movement while preserving its light and airy structure. The chain connects to two handmade rings at the sides, allowing the necklace to rest naturally along the neckline.

The clear glass catches reflections from its surroundings. Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, it may appear crystal clear, softly smoky or touched with pale pink, golden and iridescent reflections.

The contrast between transparent glass and deep black metal gives the necklace a mysterious woodland character. Despite its detailed construction, the open design keeps the piece visually light.

The version shown in the photographs has three smooth mushroom caps without dots, clear glass and a black finish. Dotted caps, another available glass color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

The necklace is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, curling forest plants and drops of light found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The clear glass is individually shaped. Small differences in its contours, internal texture and reflections are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every mushroom cap, stem and glass setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, glass form and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
