Clear Glass Pearl Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Forest Centerpiece – Botanical

A handcrafted mushroom necklace made from copper, pewter, stainless steel, steel, clear glass and a white pearl. The open fan-shaped centerpiece features three sculptural mushrooms rising above a large luminous glass element.

Three mushrooms stand at different heights on slender, individually curved stems. Each has a smooth handmade cap without raised dots, creating a delicate cluster of dark woodland silhouettes.

The tallest mushroom rises through the center of the composition, while two smaller mushrooms appear on either side. Their different heights and softly irregular shapes preserve the organic character of the handmade design.

A large rounded clear glass element forms the luminous base of the centerpiece. It is enclosed within a richly textured setting of tiny metal spheres and pointed organic details.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear crystal clear, softly smoky, pale green, silvery or touched with reflections from its surroundings.

A single white pearl appears within a narrow looping stem between the mushrooms. Its smooth opaque surface introduces a gentle contrast with the larger transparent glass element.

Two fine curved metal lines travel across the front of the glass and end in small rounded details. Their flowing shapes add movement while leaving the transparent center visible.

Short botanical branches extend outward on both sides and finish in smooth metal droplets. These lines lead naturally toward the rings connecting the centerpiece to the chain.

The necklace attaches to the chain through two integrated side rings. This two-point construction allows the decorative section to rest evenly across the neckline instead of turning like a pendant suspended from one central loop.

The deep black finish emphasizes the smooth mushroom caps, pale pearl, delicate stems and clear glass. Depending on the light, the metal may appear matte black, dark graphite or softly metallic.

Despite its detailed construction, the open spaces between the stems keep the necklace visually airy. It can be worn as woodland jewelry, an unusual mushroom talisman or a small piece of sculptural botanical art.

The version shown in the photographs has three smooth mushroom caps without dots, one clear glass element, one white pearl and a black finish. Raised mushroom dots, another available glass or pearl color, a custom centerpiece size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

This necklace is designed as a wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, delicate forest stems, pale organic forms and transparent drops of light found among woodland plants. I do not reproduce nature literally. I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass may vary subtly in outline, internal texture, transparency, bubbles and reflections. The pearl may also vary slightly in shape, surface and tone. These differences are natural characteristics of individual handmade and organic elements.

Because every mushroom cap, curved stem, glass setting and side attachment is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.

Packaging
