A pair of handcrafted drop earrings made from copper, pewter, clear glass and steel. The smooth transparent glass elements are held within compact silver-tone sculptural frames finished with small rounded details.
Light, expressive and comfortable to wear, the earrings bring a small luminous glass composition into everyday styling. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of simple geometry, balance and the movement of light through transparent glass. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
The clear glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear slightly different depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in glass shape, texture and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
