A pair of handcrafted botanical earrings made from copper, pewter, steel and rich cobalt-blue glass. Each openwork composition resembles a delicate fan-shaped branch carrying small luminous berries.
Five slender stems spread outward from a textured central junction. Four branches end in rounded blue glass beads, while the central stem is finished with a small sculptural metal bud.
The curved branches have slightly different lengths, creating a soft cascading rhythm and allowing the glass elements to move gently when the earrings are worn.
The deep blue glass catches and transmits the surrounding light. Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, it may appear cobalt blue, violet blue, sapphire or a darker midnight shade.
Small metal spheres gather around the upper connection of each earring, forming a textured organic detail from which the curved branches appear to grow.
The polished silver-tone finish emphasizes the fine lines and airy structure of the design. These earrings are silver in color but are not made from sterling silver.
The two earrings form a coordinated, oppositely directed pair. Their compositions are related but not mechanically identical, preserving the natural character of the handmade work.
Despite their expressive width, the open construction keeps the earrings visually light. They can be worn as botanical jewelry, unusual berry earrings or small pieces of nature-inspired wearable art.
The version shown in the photographs has cobalt-blue glass and a silver-tone finish. Another available glass color, a custom earring size or a black finish may be requested through personalization.
These earrings are designed as small wearable botanical objects, somewhere between jewelry, natural memories and personal symbols. Each metal component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of berries, fine branches, seed pods and drops of colored light found within the natural world. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

Its description identifies blue glass, copper, pewter and steel, while the photographs show four glass beads and a lever-back clasp on each earring.
The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
The glass elements are individually made, so subtle differences in their shape, internal texture, transparency and shade are natural characteristics of the handmade process.
Because every branch, glass setting and metal bud is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each pair individual.

About Yadovito
