A handcrafted mushroom necklace made from copper, pewter, steel and cobalt-blue glass. The circular openwork composition features three sculptural mushrooms growing above a row of luminous glass elements.
The mushrooms rise at different heights and have smooth, individually shaped caps without raised dots. Their slender curved stems create the impression of delicate forest fungi growing within the round frame.
Three rounded cobalt-blue glass elements form the vivid base of the pendant. They rest side by side within a richly textured setting of tiny metal spheres and pointed organic details.
The center glass element catches more direct light, while the two outer elements often appear darker. Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may shift between vivid cobalt, sapphire, violet blue and almost midnight blue.
A small elongated bud rises between the mushroom stems. A delicate spiral with a rounded ending and several additional curved botanical lines add movement and balance to the composition.
The thin circular frame surrounds the miniature scene without making the pendant feel heavy. Two upper side rings connect the decorative section directly to the chain, allowing it to rest naturally along the neckline.
The polished silver-tone finish reflects the light and emphasizes the smooth mushroom caps, fine stems and textured glass settings. The necklace is silver in color but is not made from sterling silver; The metal materials are copper, pewter and steel.
The version shown in the photographs has three smooth mushroom caps without dots, three cobalt-blue glass elements and a silver-tone finish. Raised mushroom dots, another available glass color, a custom pendant size or a black finish may be requested through personalization.
The necklace is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, curling forest plants and fragments of blue light found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

- Handmade in Poland
The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
The glass is melted in a special kiln and individually shaped. Subtle differences in its contours, internal texture, transparency and shade are natural characteristics of the handmade process.
Because every mushroom cap, curved stem, circular frame and glass setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, glass forms and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
