A handcrafted botanical pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, green agate and steel. The smooth teardrop-shaped stone is held within a blackened sculptural frame accented with a textured flower-like element and delicate branching forms with rounded buds.
The pendant is designed as a small wearable object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of flowers, slender stems and quiet botanical forms. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
Green agate is a natural stone, so its color, pattern, inclusions and transparency may vary slightly depending on the light and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in stone appearance, botanical details, branch curves and finish are natural and make each item individual.
