Green Glass Amanita Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Forest – Botanical Statement Necklace

A handcrafted amanita mushroom necklace made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and luminous green glass. The open sculptural centerpiece features three mushrooms rising above a large round glass element.

The tallest central mushroom has a broad conical cap decorated with individually formed raised dots. Two smaller mushrooms stand on either side and have smooth caps without dots.

Their slender curved stems rise at different heights, creating the impression of a small group of forest mushrooms growing from the same textured base.

A large round green glass element forms the luminous center of the necklace. It is held within an irregular handmade setting of tiny metal spheres and pointed organic details.

Two long metal lines begin near the lower edge of the setting and curve upward across the front of the glass. Their flowing shape adds movement while allowing the color and internal texture of the glass to remain visible.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear vivid green, olive, moss green, yellow-green or a deeper forest shade.

A small rounded bud rises between the left mushroom and the central amanita. Another slender stem carries an elongated seed-like bud near the right side of the composition.

Fine side branches extend outward and end in smooth rounded droplets. These botanical details lead naturally toward the two rings connecting the centerpiece to the chain.

The necklace attaches to the chain at two integrated side rings. This construction allows the decorative section to rest evenly across the neckline rather than hanging from a single central loop.

The deep black finish emphasizes the dotted amanita cap, smooth outer mushrooms, delicate stems and luminous green glass. Depending on the light, the metal may appear black, dark graphite or softly metallic.

Despite its detailed construction, the open spaces between the stems keep the necklace visually airy. It can be worn as woodland jewelry, an unusual mushroom talisman or a small piece of sculptural botanical art.

The version shown has one dotted mushroom cap, two smooth mushroom caps, one green glass element and a black finish. Other available glass colors, different mushroom-dot combinations, a custom centerpiece size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

This necklace is designed as a wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of tall mushrooms, delicate forest stems and fragments of green light found among moss and woodland plants. I do not reproduce nature literally. I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass may vary subtly in outline, internal texture, transparency, bubbles and shade. These differences are natural and make every finished necklace slightly individual.

Because every mushroom cap, raised dot, curved stem, glass setting and side attachment is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural characteristics of the handmade process.
