Green Glass Amanita Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Long Stem Forest Pendant

A handcrafted amanita mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, green glass and stainless steel. The minimalist sculptural design features a dotted mushroom cap connected to a long, slender stem ending in a luminous round glass element.

The conical mushroom cap is decorated with individually formed raised dots. Its elongated stem creates an unusual, delicate silhouette inspired by solitary fly agaric mushrooms growing on fine stems among moss and fallen leaves.

The green glass rests at the bottom of the pendant within a textured setting of tiny metal spheres. Its vivid translucent color creates a striking focal point against the deep black finish of the metal.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear emerald green, turquoise green or a deeper forest shade.

The contrast between the sculptural dotted cap, exceptionally long stem and glowing glass gives the necklace a slightly surreal character while keeping the composition simple and visually light.

The version shown in the photographs has a dotted mushroom cap, green glass and a black finish. A smooth cap, another available glass color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of solitary mushrooms, delicate stems and fragments of green light found within the forest. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass is melted in a special kiln and individually shaped. Small differences in its contours, internal texture and shade are natural characteristics of the handmade process. Because every mushroom cap, dot, stem and glass setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the proportions, curves, glass form and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.

Packaging

Your order will be packed with care in a kraft gift box, decorated with themed stickers and dried flowers, ready for gifting or keeping as a personal piece.
