Green Glass Amanita Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Long Stem Pendant – Forest

A handcrafted amanita mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, green glass and stainless steel. The minimalist sculptural design features a dotted mushroom cap connected to a luminous round glass element by an exceptionally long, slender stem.

The conical mushroom cap is decorated with individually formed raised dots. A small tapered droplet-shaped detail beneath the cap creates a delicate transition to the gently curved stem.

The green glass rests at the bottom of the pendant within a textured setting of tiny metal spheres. Its bright translucent color creates a vivid contrast with the deep black finish of the surrounding metalwork.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear transparent green, bright emerald, blue-green or a deeper forest shade.

The simple vertical composition emphasizes the unusual proportions of the mushroom. Its elongated silhouette feels delicate and slightly surreal while remaining visually light and easy to combine with everyday clothing.

The version shown in the photographs has a dotted mushroom cap, green glass and a black finish. A smooth cap without dots, another available glass color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of solitary mushrooms, delicate stems and fragments of green light found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The green glass catches and transmits the surrounding light. Small differences in its contours, internal texture and shade are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every mushroom cap, raised dot, stem and glass setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the proportions, curves, glass form and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
