A pair of handcrafted berry earrings made from copper, pewter, green glass and stainless steel. Each fan-shaped composition grows from a textured cluster of tiny metal spheres into five long, gently curved stems.

Four stems end in round green glass elements, while the fifth is finished with an elongated metal detail resembling a small bud, seed pod or drop. Together, these forms create an airy botanical silhouette inspired by berries and delicate forest plants.

The translucent green glass adds luminous points of color to the deep black metalwork. Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the beads may appear olive green, moss green, golden green or a deeper forest shade.

The different lengths and curves of the stems create a natural sense of movement. The open spaces between them keep the earrings visually light and allow the glass elements to move gently when worn.

The design suggests small berries, seed heads and hanging botanical forms without reproducing a specific plant literally. Its unusual fan-like shape gives the earrings a distinctive sculptural character.

The two earrings form a coordinated pair, but every curved stem, glass element and textured detail is individually shaped and assembled by hand. Slight differences between them are a natural part of the handmade process and make each pair unique.

The version shown in the photographs has green glass and a black finish. Another available glass color, a custom earring size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

These earrings are designed as small wearable botanical objects, somewhere between jewelry, natural memories and personal symbols. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of hanging berries, delicate forest stems and green fragments of light found among leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The green glass is melted and shaped individually. Small differences in its contours, internal texture, transparency and shade are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every stem, glass element and textured detail is formed and assembled by hand, slight variations in spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each pair individual.

About Yadovito

Every form begins with a feeling.

Yadovito is an independent artist studio creating handcrafted nature jewelry and wearable art shaped by personal observations of the natural world. I do not try to reproduce nature exactly. I give form to a feeling — and invite others to find their own story in it.
