A handcrafted jellyfish pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, green glass and steel. The sculptural design combines a luminous round glass element with four flowing metal tentacles, tiny rounded details and organic droplet-shaped tips.
The darkened metal creates a striking contrast with the translucent green glass. The long curved lines give the pendant a sense of gentle underwater movement, as though a small jellyfish were drifting quietly through deep water.
The pendant is designed as a small wearable ocean sculpture, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of translucent jellyfish, moving water and delicate marine forms. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The green glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear pale green, emerald, purple-green or deeper in tone depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in tentacle curves, glass appearance, rounded details and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
