Available on request: raised mushroom dots, another available glass color, a custom brooch size or a silver-tone finish.

A handcrafted mushroom brooch made from copper, pewter, steel and luminous green glass. The open fan-shaped composition features three sculptural mushrooms rising from a richly textured botanical base.

Three mushrooms stand at different heights on long, individually curved stems. Each has a smooth conical cap without raised dots, creating a delicate group of dark woodland silhouettes.

A round green glass bead forms the central point of color. It rests on a separate curved stem and is finished with small rounded metal details above and below.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear emerald green, vivid grass green, jade, turquoise green or a deeper forest shade.

Another slender stem curves through the center of the composition and ends in a smooth teardrop-shaped metal detail. This dark organic form balances the luminous glass bead.

The mushroom stems and botanical lines spread outward from a textured lower section formed from tiny individual metal spheres. The irregular surface resembles a miniature patch of forest soil.

The open spaces between the stems keep the brooch visually airy despite its detailed sculptural construction. Its narrow fan-shaped silhouette can be worn vertically on a jacket, coat, scarf, hat or another fabric suitable for a brooch pin.

A long integrated pin runs along the back of the composition and secures into a small catch near the textured base.

The deep black finish emphasizes the smooth mushroom caps, fine curved stems and luminous green glass. Depending on the light, the metal may appear matte black, dark graphite or softly metallic.

The version shown in the photographs has three smooth mushroom caps without dots, one green glass bead and a black finish. Raised mushroom dots, another available glass color, a custom brooch size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

This brooch is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of tall forest mushrooms, slender stems and a small fragment of green light found among woodland plants. I do not reproduce nature literally. I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

It currently shows one available piece, rather than confirmed made-to-order production.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass may vary subtly in shape, transparency, internal texture and shade. These differences are natural characteristics of individual glass elements.

Because every mushroom cap, curved stem, textured base and fastening element is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each brooch individual.
