A pair of handcrafted mushroom earrings made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and green glass. Each oval openwork composition features one sculptural mushroom growing among delicate curved stems and small botanical forms.
The mushroom has a smooth, individually shaped conical cap without raised dots. Its slender stem rises from the textured base of the earring and curves naturally through the oval frame.
A small faceted green glass bead introduces a vivid point of color beside the mushroom. Its surface catches the light and may appear emerald, grass green or a deeper forest shade depending on the surroundings and viewing angle.
An elongated metal bud grows from a separate curved stem. Another flowing line ends in a small rounded detail, adding movement and balance to the composition.
Tiny metal spheres gather around the lower section of each earring, creating a textured forest-floor effect from which the mushroom and botanical lines appear to grow.
The polished silver-tone finish reflects the light and emphasizes the fine curves, open spaces and handmade connections. These earrings are silver in color but are not made from sterling silver.
The two earrings form a coordinated, oppositely directed pair. Their compositions follow the same design but are not mechanically identical, preserving the natural character of the handmade work.
The compact oval shape makes the earrings expressive without appearing visually heavy. They can be worn as woodland jewelry, subtle witchy accessories or small pieces of botanical wearable art.
The version shown in the photographs has one smooth mushroom cap in each earring, green glass and a silver-tone finish. Raised mushroom dots, another available glass color, a custom earring size or a black finish may be requested through personalization.
These earrings are designed as small wearable botanical objects, somewhere between jewelry, natural memories and personal symbols. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of solitary mushrooms, curled shoots and small fragments of green light found among moss and forest plants. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
The glass beads may vary subtly in their shape, facets, internal texture, reflections and shade. These small differences contribute to the individual character of every finished pair.
Because every mushroom cap, curved stem, glass setting and oval frame is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each pair individual.

About Yadovito
