Green Glass Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Forest Centerpiece – Psychedelic Botanical

A handcrafted mushroom necklace made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and luminous green glass. The open forest-inspired centerpiece features three sculptural mushrooms rising above one large round glass element.

Three mushrooms stand at different heights on slender, individually curved stems. Their changing proportions and directions create the impression of a small imaginary mushroom colony growing from the forest floor.

Each mushroom has a smooth, hand-sculpted conical cap without raised dots. The softly irregular outlines preserve the organic character of the handmade design.

The tallest mushroom rises near the center, while two smaller mushrooms appear on either side. Their gently curved stems create an airy, naturally asymmetrical rhythm.

A large round green glass element forms the luminous base of the composition. It is held within a textured handmade setting decorated with tiny metal spheres and irregular organic details.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear vivid lime green, emerald, grass green, olive or a deeper forest shade. Its transparency and internal texture become especially visible when light passes through it.

Several fine botanical stems curve around the mushrooms and across the open composition. Some form loose loops and inward curls, while others end in smooth rounded droplets.

The flowing lines create movement around the glass without covering its luminous surface. Open spaces between the stems keep the detailed composition visually light.

The mushrooms and botanical forms emerge from the textured setting surrounding the glass. Its uneven surface resembles a miniature fragment of forest soil, moss or scattered seeds.

The necklace chain attaches to two integrated rings positioned on opposite sides of the centerpiece. This two-point construction allows the composition to rest evenly across the neckline rather than rotating like a pendant suspended from a single loop.

The deep black finish emphasizes the smooth mushroom caps, fine curved stems and vivid green glass. Depending on the lighting, the metal may appear matte black, dark graphite or softly metallic, with subtle warm copper highlights.

Despite its detailed construction, the open design keeps the necklace visually airy. It can be worn as woodland jewelry, a psychedelic mushroom talisman or a small piece of sculptural botanical art.

The main version shown has three smooth mushroom caps without dots, one bright green glass element and a blackened finish. Other available glass colors, raised mushroom dots, a custom centerpiece size, another chain length or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

Some gallery photographs show previous versions with clear, pale green or blue glass. The shape, transparency and exact shade of the glass may vary depending on the selected color and the individual handmade element.

Because this necklace is made to order, the piece you receive will not be an exact mechanical copy of the photographed example. Small differences in the glass shape, mushroom caps, stem curves, spacing and proportions are natural and make every necklace individual.

This necklace is designed as a wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender forest mushrooms, curling shoots and bright drops of light found among woodland plants. I do not reproduce nature literally. I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass may vary subtly in outline, internal texture, bubbles, transparency and shade. These differences are natural characteristics of individual glass elements.

Because every mushroom cap, curved stem, textured setting and side attachment is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
