Green Glass Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Fungi Pendant – Botanical Forest

A handcrafted mushroom necklace made from copper, pewter, green glass and steel. The asymmetrical openwork composition features three sculptural mushroom caps rising on long, gently curved stems above a luminous round glass element.

A smaller green glass bead adds another point of light among the dark botanical lines. Two delicate bud-like forms and flowing side curls complete the miniature fungi garden.

The large green glass element forms the visual center of the necklace. A slender metal line curves across its surface, visually connecting the glass with the stems growing above it. Depending on the light, the glass may appear bright lime green, golden green or a deeper mossy shade.

The chain connects to two handmade rings at the sides of the composition, allowing the necklace to rest naturally along the neckline. The contrast between glowing green glass and blackened metal gives the piece a mysterious woodland character.

The necklace is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, young shoots and fragments of green light found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The green glass catches and transmits the surrounding light. Its shade may vary depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle.

Because every element is shaped by hand, small differences in the mushroom caps, curved stems, glass forms, botanical details and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.

Packaging

Your order will be packed with care in a kraft gift box, decorated with themed stickers and dried flowers, ready for gifting or keeping as a personal piece.
