Green Glass Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Oval Forest Pendant – Botanical

A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and vivid green glass. The elongated oval composition features three sculptural mushrooms growing among delicate curved stems and botanical forms.

The mushrooms rise at different heights and have smooth, individually shaped conical caps without raised dots. Their slender stems create the impression of a miniature fungi garden growing inside the open oval frame.

A large round green glass element forms the luminous base of the pendant. It rests within a textured setting of tiny metal spheres and pointed organic details resembling young shoots emerging from the forest floor.

A smaller faceted green glass bead appears higher on a separate curved stem. Its bright translucent surface introduces a second point of color and catches the light from different angles.

A central curling line ends in a rounded droplet, while several additional stems carry small bud-like forms. These flowing details add movement without making the open composition feel crowded.

The thin oval frame surrounds the miniature botanical scene and leads into an integrated pendant loop at the top. The open spaces between the elements keep the necklace visually light despite its elongated proportions.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear vivid emerald, bright grass green, lime green or a deeper forest shade.

The deep black finish emphasizes the smooth mushroom caps, fine stems and luminous glass. It gives the pendant a mysterious woodland character while preserving the clarity of its delicate handmade lines.

The version shown in the photographs has three smooth mushroom caps without dots, two green glass elements and a black finish. Raised mushroom dots, another available glass color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, curling forest shoots and fragments of green light found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass is melted in a special kiln and individually shaped. Subtle differences in its contours, internal texture, bubbles, transparency and shade are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every mushroom cap, curved stem, oval frame and glass setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, glass forms and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.

Packaging

Your order will be packed with care in a kraft gift box, decorated with themed stickers and dried flowers, ready for gifting or keeping as a personal piece.
