Green Glass Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Oval Forest Pendant – Psychedelic Botanical

A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, green glass and stainless steel. The elongated oval composition features three sculptural mushrooms growing among slender, flowing botanical lines.

The mushrooms rise at different heights and have smooth, individually shaped caps without dots. Their softly pointed silhouettes create the impression of delicate forest fungi reaching upward inside the open oval frame.

A large round yellow-green glass element forms the luminous base of the pendant. It is surrounded by a textured setting of tiny metal spheres and pointed organic details that resemble new shoots emerging from the forest floor.

A smaller dark green glass bead rests higher within the composition on its own curved stem. Together, the two glass elements create contrasting points of color and depth within the black metal structure.

Two small bud-like forms and long intersecting lines complete the miniature botanical scene. The open spaces between the stems preserve the pendant’s airy character and emphasize its elongated silhouette.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the larger glass element may appear lime green, yellow-green, olive or golden moss, while the smaller bead may shift between emerald and deep forest green.

The version shown in the photographs has three smooth mushroom caps without dots, green glass and a black finish. Raised dots, another available glass color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, curling forest plants and fragments of green light found among moss and leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass is melted in a special kiln and individually shaped. Small differences in its contours, internal texture and color are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every mushroom cap, curved stem, oval frame and glass setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, glass forms and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
