Green Glass Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Round Forest Pendant – Botanical Fungi

A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, green glass and stainless steel. The circular openwork composition features three sculptural mushroom caps rising on long, gently curved stems.

Three round glass elements rest along the lower edge of the pendant within a textured setting of tiny metal details. The darker central glass is framed by two lighter green pieces, creating a luminous focal point beneath the mushrooms.

A delicate curling stem flows through the center of the composition, while two bud-like botanical forms rise at the sides. The varied heights and asymmetrical curves give the miniature fungi garden a natural sense of movement.

The contrast between translucent green glass and blackened metal gives the necklace a mysterious woodland character. Despite its detailed construction, the open circular frame keeps the pendant visually light and balanced.

The version shown in the photographs has smooth mushroom caps without dots. Dotted caps, other available glass colors and a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of mushroom clusters, curling shoots and fragments of green light found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The handmade glass catches and reflects the surrounding light. Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, its shades may shift from pale translucent green to deeper mossy tones.

Because every mushroom, stem and glass setting is individually shaped by hand, small differences in the curves, glass forms, proportions and finish are natural and make each necklace unique.

Packaging
