Green Glass Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper Square Forest Pendant – Psychedelic Botanical

A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, green glass and steel. The square openwork composition features three sculptural mushroom caps, two delicate bud-like forms and slender botanical lines growing from a luminous round glass element.

The vivid green glass rests near the lower edge of the pendant within a textured setting of tiny metal details. Its intense color creates a striking contrast with the blackened metal and becomes the glowing center of the composition.

The mushrooms rise on long, gently curved stems inside the hand-shaped square frame. Small curled tendrils and organic irregularities give the pendant a sense of movement, as though a miniature fungi garden were growing toward the light.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, young shoots and luminous green fragments found among moss and forest plants. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass is melted in a special kiln and shaped individually. Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, its color may appear bright lime green, vivid emerald or deeper forest green.

Because every pendant is shaped by hand, small differences in the square frame, mushroom caps, curved stems, glass form, botanical details and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.

Packaging

Your order will be packed with care in a kraft gift box, decorated with themed stickers and dried flowers, ready for gifting or keeping as a personal piece.
