Green Glass Mushroom Pendant Necklace – Blackened Copper Forest – Botanical

A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and luminous green glass. The elongated openwork composition features one sculptural mushroom, two rounded glass elements and delicate botanical forms.

A single mushroom rises from the upper section of the pendant on a long, gently curved stem. Its broad, hand-sculpted conical cap is decorated with small raised dots, giving it a distinctive woodland character.

Two rounded green glass elements form the main points of color within the composition. Each rests on a separate slender stem and is finished with small rounded metal details.

Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear emerald green, grass green, jade, olive or a deeper forest shade. Its transparency and internal texture become especially visible when light passes through it.

Several fine botanical stems cross and separate throughout the pendant, creating an airy structure of flowing lines and open spaces.

One small shoot curves inward and ends in a rounded droplet. A separate stem carries an elongated seed-like bud, adding another organic form to the composition.

Beneath the mushroom cap is a second narrow bud-shaped element. Its elongated shape visually connects the mushroom with the branching forms below.

The stems gather near the lower section in a textured cluster formed from small handmade metal spheres. This irregular detail resembles a miniature fragment of forest soil or moss.

Two thin lines extend below the textured base and end in smooth teardrop-shaped forms. Their slightly different directions give the pendant a naturally asymmetrical finish.

The pendant hangs from one integrated upper loop formed as part of a long curved stem. It connects to the necklace chain through a small jump ring.

The deep black finish emphasizes the dotted mushroom cap, delicate stems and vivid green glass. Depending on the lighting, the metal may appear matte black, dark graphite or softly metallic.

Despite its expressive length, the open construction keeps the pendant visually light. It can be worn as woodland jewelry, a mushroom talisman or a small piece of sculptural botanical art.

The version shown has one dotted mushroom cap, two green glass elements and a blackened finish. A smooth mushroom cap without dots, another available glass color, a custom pendant size, another chain length or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

Because this necklace is made to order, the piece you receive will not be an exact mechanical copy of the photographed example. Small differences in the glass shapes, stem curves, spacing and proportions are natural and make every necklace individual.

This necklace is designed as a wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of solitary mushrooms, slender forest shoots, seed pods and small fragments of green light found among woodland plants. I do not reproduce nature literally. I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The glass is melted in a special kiln and individually shaped. Small differences in its outline, internal texture, bubbles, transparency and shade are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because every mushroom cap, raised dot, curved stem, textured detail and pendant loop is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.

Packaging

Your order will be packed with care in a kraft gift box, decorated with themed stickers and dried flowers, ready for gifting or keeping as a personal piece.
