A pair of handcrafted drop earrings made from copper, pewter, green jadeite and steel. The round polished stones are framed with small sculptural metal details, creating a compact organic design with a rich contrast between deep green and blackened metal.
Light, expressive and comfortable to wear, the earrings bring a small sculptural form into everyday styling. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of simple geometry, balance and natural rounded forms. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
Jadeite is a natural stone, so its color, pattern and surface may vary slightly.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in shape, texture and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
