A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, green stained glass and steel. The round sculptural frame contains three mushrooms on long curved stems, a flowing spiral detail and a luminous green glass element surrounded by small organic forms.
The pendant is designed as a small wearable object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of mushroom clusters, delicate stems and small forms growing together on the forest floor. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The green stained glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear lighter, darker or slightly different in tone depending on the lighting and background.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in mushroom shapes, stem curves, glass appearance and finish are natural and make each item individual.
