A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, green stained glass and stainless steel. The sculptural composition combines a luminous round glass element with three mushrooms on long curved stems, delicate looping lines and small organic metal details.
The green glass creates a vivid focal point within the dark botanical composition. Its color and translucency change subtly with the surrounding light, giving the pendant a different appearance from every angle.
The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of delicate mushrooms, curling stems and small forms growing together among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The green stained glass is melted in a kiln, creating subtle variations in shape, texture and color. It may appear bright green, olive or deeper forest green depending on the lighting and background.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in mushroom shapes, stem curves, glass appearance and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
