A pair of handcrafted teardrop earrings made from black and clear borosilicate glass with stainless steel ear wires. Each transparent drop encloses a deep black sculptural form that appears suspended inside the glass, creating a striking contrast between light and shadow.
Light and comfortable to wear, the earrings bring a small glass sculpture into everyday styling. Each glass element is shaped individually by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of captured shadows, fluid forms and the quiet contrast between darkness and transparent glass. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow the molten material to evolve until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The transparent glass catches and reflects the surrounding light, while the black inner forms may appear slightly different depending on the background and viewing angle.
Because every glass element is shaped by hand, small differences in form, inner detail placement and bubble pattern are natural and make each pair individual.
